Order the new book by Russell D. Haynes, Where Did the Deer Go? This book explains, in detail and with pictures, the reason that whitetail deer were close to extinction in the middle to late 1800's of most of America. Then, this book explains the steps the United States government took to remedy the problem, thus, giving the United States, especially the southeast, a current, thriving whitetail population.

You need to cover your head and your breath when hunting.
Your breath contains about 20,000 to 50,000 negative ions from the water evaporating from your body; but you must be grounded to exhale a concentration this high. If you are not grounded, you will become more positively charged with each breath exhaled by about five volts, because your breath is removing negative charged ions. Eventually, you will become sufficiently positive after exhaling about 20 times, that the negative ions will immediately return and neutralize your body. The scent comes out the top of your head and your breath. Ever watch football players on a cold day when they take their helmets off ? Look at your breath on a cold day or notice the light fog out the top of their head. You just dont see it on a hot day.
This is exactly why a Shutzhund trained German Shepherd can trail a man through the woods for 3 and a half hours, without even putting it's nose to the ground except for about the last half hour, depending on how fast the man moves. THINK ABOUT WHAT DEER CAN SMELL! This is why hunters have wondered why deer can still smell where they have been even while wearing rubber boots.
For years, many popular outdoor magazines claim that around 70% of the odor that deer smell escape from the top of the head. When you see football players on the sideline with their helmets off, you see that steam, that is what animals smell flowing across the air current! The media in this scent destroying cap liner is patented and a vast improvement other activated carbon (coconut shell) products. We have patented resins that do 3 things: 1. They keep the millions of pores unclogged by not allowing sweat or other liquids from entering in. 2. They controls odor molecules that cannot be handled and are 'exchanged' into molecules that are odorless. They keep a positive 'draw' on scent molecules.
Your body is negatively charged, that is why lighting strikes us.
The blue sections sewn into our cap liners are positively charged to continuously draw human odors. We also use the same media in our liners as we do in our patented polar hoods, face mask and foot inserts. The coconut bed also includes a patented, all natural vegetable odor absorbing media. NOTE: Keep cap liner in plastic bag or scent control bag when not in use. Do not store in cedar.

I just ordered Haynes's activated carbon boot inserts too. Teir scent killing stuff works man, especially that cap liner. All my hunting buds wear them. They are the only one's in our Ga club that ever even see deer!

This cap liner really keeps my scent block walking to my stand. I imagine even bear hunters should wear this

killed a dominant doe (been trying to get) and a nice 9 pt last bow season wearing this. I had to walk good ways to my two best stands where I had them on camera, always get busted (dam doe blows everytime) They never busted me after I wore this and the mouth cover I also ordered. I now have the polar fleece scent killer coming this year as well

Several bow hunters wear them and say they work better than anything, in our hot bow season weather. So we all wear them in winter too
