Order the new book by Russell D. Haynes, Where Did the Deer Go? This book explains, in detail and with pictures, the reason that whitetail deer were close to extinction in the middle to late 1800's of most of America. Then, this book explains the steps the United States government took to remedy the problem, thus, giving the United States, especially the southeast, a current, thriving whitetail population.

Your breath contains about 20,000 to 50,000 negative ions from the water evaporating from your body; but you must be grounded to exhale a concentration this high. If you are not grounded, you will become more positively charged with each breath exhaled by about five volts, because your breath is removing negative charged ions. Eventually, you will become sufficiently positive after exhaling about 20 times, that the negative ions will immediately return and neutralize your body. The scent comes out the top of your head and your breath. Ever watch football players on a cold day when they take their helmets off ? Look at your breath on a cold day or notice the light fog out the top of their head. You just don't see it on a hot day.
This is exactly why a Shutzhund trained German Shepherd's are famous for trailing a man through the woods for 3 and a half hours, without even putting its nose to the ground, except maybe the last half hour.
THINK ABOUT WHAT DEER CAN SMELL! This is why hunters have wondered why deer can still smell where they have been even while wearing rubber boots.

Cant say enough how many deer the "old timers" see at our club wearing this. ( they also wear the Haynes foot inserts) They cant climb trees anymore, some use small portable ground blinds, most just sit on ground next to a tree. Apparently this product is bona fide

Bought one 4 yrs or so agao and ust bought 6 for Christmas presents for my kids and in law deer hunters. I have improved my "ground" hunting using this in areas with no good trees. It surely works on killing or absorbing my scent. whatever or however, it works great

All the older guys who hunt ground level swear by this hood, and some wear the patented cap liner Haynes sells as well, along with the face mask. They seem to take bucks as much as the younger guys who climb trees!

The pouches in the head and mouth area seem to work, you can smell the activated carbon or whatever it is. I hunt mostly on a big hill or two in Tn and deer never smell me when I wear this hood. Even in the wrong wind
